West Anderson Plaza, an existing retail center, was one of the catalyst for the Burnet Road revitalization. With over 116,000 square feet of Class A retail space, the existing building and site were reminiscent of late 70's "big-box" retail. This site was transformed by introducing the pedestrian, the installation of public art, and the addition of texture, color and depth with stone, metal panels, new glazing, canopies, and landscape.
Burke Real Estate Group hired Stephen Levy in 2003 to assist with ongoing site, shell building and tenant upgrades to the shopping center.
