LEVY DYKEMA is founded on a spirit of giving back. Our dedication to the community is in our DNA. We show this both by sending teams of volunteers to charities across the city and by individually advocating for causes near and dear to each of us.

COTERA+REED’s legacy of community and civic involvement bolsters our own. Their on-going focus on public sector work has positioned them to know where their time can make the biggest difference, and they have always found a way to magnify the impact they have by leveraging their deep network of friends and partners.

Together, we are excited to continue making a difference in the communities we call our own.

Whether it’s industry events that support a greater cause like CANstruction and Barkitecture, or building homes for Habitat for Humanity, delivering food for Meals on Wheels, working in the garden at Urban Roots, distributing fans with Family Eldercare, or planting trees with Keep Austin Beautiful, LEVY DYKMEA shows up. And in times of crisis, LEVY DYKEMA acts quickly and find a way to make a difference, like delivering truckloads of food and supplies to the people of Rockport with 24 hours post-Hurricane Harvey.

We are proud of our contributions and passionate about supporting our employees as they give back, too.

  • "Part of our Texas Contemporary™️ spirit, is our commitment and active role of giving back to the community."

CANstruction Corpus Christi

Every year the CANstruction competition invites industry designers to compete by building structures made out of full cans of food, creating beautiful CanArt® for display to the public. The cans are then donated to the Coastal Bend Food Bank. The LEVY DYKEMA Corpus Christi studio designed "CANoe Adventures of Cat and Dog" this year. Great job, everyone!

Meals on Wheels Central Texas

Meals On Wheels (MOW) volunteers distribute 3,000 meals per week to seniors and homebound adults in the Austin area. LEVY DYKEMA is a long-time supporter of MOW, and our team recently hit the road again, delivering food to those in need. The effort offered a great opportunity to both reconnect with each other and meet new people. Thanks for all your hard work!

Del Mar College TexPREP

This summer, Studio Director, Rob Garcia, and Architect, Madeline Layland volunteered to work with 8th-grade and 9th-grade students in the architectural program. The program guides students through a STEM-focused curriculum to better prepare for careers in architecture. Great work, team! We look forward to seeing what these students achieve.

Urban Roots Sustainable Farm

LEVY DYKEMA volunteers, Erin Dorsey, Christy Glenn, Amanda Gomez, Marcela Cid, James Hadden, and daughter, Annie, spent a day at Urban Roots sustainable farm. Urban Roots uses farming to create leadership opportunities for high school students and 75% of the crops they grow are distributed to local organizations fighting food insecurity. The team focused on cleaning out weeds and harvesting tomatoes. Fantastic work, everyone!
