Welcome 2022 Issue

Texas Contemporary™ Monthly: Issue 09

A Year of Milestones

Milestones are the product of vision, creativity, hard work and determination, and each marks a significant achievement worthy of celebration.

LEVY DYKEMA is proud that 2021 was a year of milestones to commemorate with our clients, our team members, our firm, and the region we call home.

This year our talented team demonstrated their passionate work and innovative thinking by leading a multitude of projects from start to finish. Developments including Uplands Corporate Center Phase II, Torre University Student Housing in Austin, and Navy Army Community Credit Union in McAllen, were completed this year and are just a few examples of our signature LEVY DYKEMA work.

We will remember 2021 for our largest milestone to date, the expansion of LEVY DYKEMA. In case you missed it, below is a link to our expansion announcement video. We have combined talent, experience, and resources to expand our unique brand of Texas Contemporary™ architecture, design and interiors to better serve our growing and diverse client base.

Our great State of Texas has also reached important milestones in 2021. With companies such as Tesla and Google moving into the region, our state is experiencing rapid growth and is quickly becoming the heart of economic growth in the country. We are proud to call the region home and look forward to growing together in the new year.

LEVY DYKEMA has many milestones to celebrate this year. We reflect on all of our collective accomplishments in 2021 to propel our productive vision for 2022 with new milestones to celebrate.

Welcome 2022

The LEVY DYKEMA team is brimming with ideas – ideas that capture the essence of our Texas Contemporary™ design with the unprecedented talent, experience, and creativity of our expanded team across Texas.

We are well-positioned in Texas, a state that has experienced accelerated rapid growth in spite of a pandemic. The Texas Business Outlook Survey data reflects strong growth in Texas’ economic activity in recent months of 2021. This trend has the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas projecting Texas’ return to pre-pandemic levels of employment by 2022.

We are poised for a great year ahead. With the Central Texas region’s record-breaking year of corporate expansions and relocations, direct job growth surpassing previous years, and the greatest number of direct jobs announced in the region. It has been said that the secret to Texas’ growth is in its ability to attract businesses, and in 2022 look for LEVY DYKEMA to do our part in nurturing our dynamic region.

Our Signature Work

In the coming year, our LEVY DYKEMA team is looking forward to two signature projects, the East Village Pavilion and Phase 2 of Palo Verde at Steiner Ranch

The new and highly anticipated East Village Pavilion will be located at the Village Green and offer the perfect combination of urban living with shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor amenities. The design will reflect the Hill Country aesthetic while incorporating contemporary elements to give East Village its own identity. These elements include custom terracotta breeze blocks as a nod to the clay soils of the east side, the East Village brand colors and form.

We also look forward to Phase 2 of Palo Verde at Steiner Ranch, located directly adjacent to Phase 1. The new three-story building will be approximately 14,000 sq. ft. and share a similar material palette. Levels 2 and 3 will both incorporate outdoor terrace areas for creative office space, with parking provided below.

Happy New Year!

A message from our President, Stephen V. Levy

As we continue to grow, I am excited about the possibilities the future holds in 2022.

In the robust environment of the new and expanded LEVY DYKEMA, we continue redefining our growth vision in size, talent, geography and diverse industry assignments. We continuously set new visions and heights of just how valuable we can be to our clients and to our communities. From Austin to Corpus Christi and all points along the robust  I-35 corridor, as well as expanded regions around the country, our work and value is attracting important assignments and clients in diverse industries.

Growth also means realizing how important it is to give back to the community that has given us the opportunity to do the things we love to do.

In 2022, our New Year's resolution is to give back. That's an important part of our growth at LEVY DYKEMA.

Look for our Community Agenda as it unfolds and takes on a life of giving back and making a difference in 2022 and beyond.

It’s what I want to do and what LEVY DYKEMA will continue to do as we grow.

Happy New Year to all!

Stephen Levy
