Navy Army Community Credit Union - McAllen, Texas

“They say it takes a village. To design and construct a building, it takes a team.”
- Biby Dykema, LEVY DYKEMA Principal

Last week, our team joined the Navy Army Community Credit Union and Noble Construction teams for the ribbon cutting at their new location. LEVY DYKEMA had the pleasure to work on the design of the branch, located in McAllen, Texas. The two-story location spans 17,500 square feet and is the 4th Navy Army branch in the Rio Grande Valley. We were honored to be part of the construction and collaboration on the creation of this new location.

Community Connections

#SXSW 2022 was a success! From March 11-20, Austin hosted the first in-person event in three years. Since 1987, Austin has been the destination to share ideas, innovations, and celebrate the convergence of creativity with attendees from across the globe with creativity and leadership in the interactive, film, and music industries. With our new studio location on Congress Avenue & 7th, we are excited to be located in the midst of the activities as creativity abounds in Austin. Here's a photo of our Congress Avenue studios with our SXSW display!

The Power of Collaboration

A message from our President, Stephen V. Levy

We often hear the term collaboration utilized in many aspects of the world of architecture and design. And certainly, it is the ideal process of producing the best work possible when we all listen, learn and contribute our respective ideas and creativity in a shared process.

Such is the power of collaboration that brings out the best of LEVY DYKEMA.

A perfect example is the energy, ideas and collaboration that recently took place one morning in our new studio/office space on Congress Avenue in the heart of downtown Austin. Someone suggested the idea of creating something special for our windows welcoming the tens of thousands of visitors soon to be filling the streets for SXSW. The ideas and collaboration flourished.

Following in the spirit of collaboration, I am happy to announce that my partners and associates from our Corpus Christi studios, Biby Dykema and John Dykema, will be contributing their LEVY DYKEMA PERSPECTIVE content to this monthly column on a shared, regular basis.

I am proud of our Texas Contemporary™ brand of Architecture, fueled through the power of collaboration!
